Brightness doth cast her shadow of day
Oh breath of sea, wash over me
Her sea breath whispering all across my soul
I lay amidst sand entombing my very being
Body, breath, and frame.
I whisper not nor breath
Lest she loose her hold on me.
Affixed I lay, face full of sky
Fear filled to breath a hush
So I dared not sigh,
No moan, sigh, nor
Whisper, did escape from my lips
Her sea breath as baby's breath
Covering all of me.
I lay long a silent
Hoping moment might stay
Yet quick as exhale flew
Her departure ensued
Moaned I, oh yes
Like a young lass in love
For the moment now vanquished
Left me trembling undone
Like a young lad's first poem
I felt words spring to mind
From the wells of my heart
To bow, yes and honor
The scent you breathed
Freely upon me
Pay tribute by inhaling, yes,
More of you into me
I lay now as an old man
Still basking in sand
Still face full of sky bright
Beating down upon me
Oh sea of breath
Swoop down upon me
Please plant your breath
Yes please annoint me,
For I wither yes in battle
For the breeze that you bring
When inhaled it's my fire
That burneth, lites my pathway
The fire that stands,
Yes stilts me each day
The fire when inhaled
Makes yesterdays today.

"face full of sky", lest I quote back to you the entire poem.. this phrase: felt my face change, became aware of my breathing, could hear what I was reading perfectly.. This is a piece that will linger. sigh.. katy.
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
This was a rear breather of a write!!
Till next time...hehehe.......take care!!
