Now standest thou on extrinsic ground
Where ye have never trod
The distance you traveled
To get to this shore
Many shoe been shod
Now stand ye on ground anew to touch
Scent quite varied, a myriad in swirl
Heart commandment pounding, brings about
This transfer of carriage extreme
To a land not yet shadowed
By the cast of your frame.
Stand still forever
Whilst quaking in time
Or move on in honor
One foot at a time
For pledge does not sway
Nor dissuade my intent
'Tis action awaited
My eye to your step
For a mans vow
Be not weighed nor assessed
By his bold breath blown in word form
Nor unleashed In like gale force
Neither pleasing to me
I look for the footprint
Where heart presses foot to sand
Yes, action marking the essence of man
For integrity balanced not upon whim
Nor words loosed in fervor
From bright barking moon.
The deeds that do mark us
As men where we stand
Are the steps taken
As children
Heart held in hand.
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,

The deeds that do mark us
As men where we stand
Are the steps taken
As children
Heart held in hand.
