'Twas a lad of eight when I laid nestled in her lap
'Twas my finest moment, my life in one breath
Intimacy untold, as I share now this story
Bout a young lad from Ireland,
Who's tale of passion still rings of old
Yea, as bard of this song In truth must confess
That this remembrance of beauty, issues tears to my breast
As I mix them upon parchment, soul, heart, tears, ink smeared.
She saw deep some beauty in the lad yes so sad
Especially in his eyelashes so long born of youth
As the lad lay there in heaven in the very polestar of womb
She tenderly stroked his eyelashes, soft sun bleached blond brown
It went on forever, though long hours it was
The boy now had tasted, the true essence of love
As he pondered his whole lifewalk, the beauty she saw deep in him
The lad grew tall in stature, yea, respected by all
Fierce warrior grand poet acclaimed by most all
He wandered bout the badlands of countries untold
In search of the lingering essence, yes very old
In vain hope thwarted by years raked in war
He strolled now upon garden as he rested now aged
He thought of the maidens a many and afar
Who had felt his towering power upon passions of war
Yet, no matter how many, though number they sand of sea
He found never the touch of her, sigh, hand so sweet.
He laid now upon deathbed he knew the day dawned
He countered all overtures as nothing be gone!
For he was entranced in a moment, afar back in time
Where head lay in lap, and his eyelashes were fondled, yes, caressed fine
By a lasses pure touch of innocence, so deep her thrust, lingering endlessly upon time.
The finest piece of passionate writing I have seen...you've certainly captured my imagination, emotions and soul with this.

Sigh.. you do so appeal to my hungry romantic nature.. and Ireland! How lovely to know that men also carry those tender thoughts of the first time.. that time of innocence and learning. Your depths are a pleasure to travel.. again, sigh. katy.
