Seannachie standing atop a mount high wide
Eyes blazed and shining as they all made the climb
Up where he lingered only at times
To sit at his feet and drink his fine wine
His name known by all men through regions outstretched
The township folk, from country as well
Climbed to the pinnacle where the seannachie dwell
Prince pauper peasant one and all old and young
Traveled far distance to hear his voice strum
Story goes took five days, for all to arrive
Hillside speckled in colored cloth all arrayed
Young maidens a merry, young, lads serious in the way
Quick hush then showered all, as he rose to his feet
Robe swaying sword glistening a warrior untold
Yet they whispered within him lay mysteries untold
He stood and surveyed his audience so grand
Then he knelt down on one knee, set elbow in hand
He stood silent forever it seemed, eyes yet roamed
For a wise king always surveys well from his throne
Came then a sudden, mighty blast of wind
He stood and then thundered you have come yes to hear?
The wind carried silver dust origin unknown
Yet it softened the hearts of they at the throne
He smiled! It did alarm them, yes one and all
For his stoic stern visage yea known to all
'Twas a smile never seen, shined like lighting fire mixed
His eyes were ablazed with a deep coal ember lit
His smile did then soften then quickly was gone
The crowd now all trembling awaiting next word
He moved in close among them touching the young in the way
Then he swayed in smooth fashion and regal display
His voice now a whisper, as his eyes did meet all
Not one eye escaped him in faces like sea
A lite now encased him as he gestured to all
Go back down the mountain, yea, one and all

Your words my poetic friend are very alluring indeed.
I'm oft drawn to a gentler time when reading you...And that Sir is a beautiful thing.
So beautiful breathtaking images and emotion
