Indian Princess Standing Tall

Story begins this day, of an Indian Princess standing in the way
Oh, Princess she was, make no mistake about it this day
Some called her Indian girl standing in tears
Others named her Indian girl with tears, names amany story but one,
I begin at the beginning, the story to unfold

Born as any other, yet, a Princess she was
No, known by no other, sadly so I must state
For her power was thunderous, her heart, bunny like inside
But none saw her thunder as she floated and walked by
For she was of wind walk, whilst they only in flesh did sway

Her name suited, of the tears do I now speak,
For her deep ladened sadness cased pathways of tears
The animals knew of her greatness unearthed, the wind
Sang her melodies in bowing salute,
Yet, love never found her in all her pursuit

One day long, after dream almost died
Appearing on the seacliff a sad warrior fire eyed
Appeared out of sunburst, weeping of rain
For he like the Princess, inside, did wilt die, just the same
Their eyes met and hearts danced, as never in time

They fell in the meadow alive bright in kind
Love, heart, spirit yea, and flesh, did mix wet in rain wet
The heavens did thunder to announce the birth
Of the greatest love story, to ever visit the earth
Yes, Indian Princess Standing tall, and a warrior of fire, embraced upon sunlit time forevermore

Sunsets reveal them, they fly high upon the sunlit clouds
The animal kingdom bows as they do sing
The dawn breaking tells the passion they bring
The kind men long for, love story of old
Yet, none shone brighter, than this tale to unfold

The very powers of the universe did quake as they walked
Hand in heart close steps, never apart, for closeness was their name
As water is to rain, as pure as babe born, was their innocence of love, released into time
Both virgin of heart, something few know, yet these two on times breath
'Tis indeed how they flowed

In bright sweeping innocence did their tender hearts prance
On breath of the sunsets, and water lakes gleam
Fires did they set, wherever they roamed
For men saw their beauty, set stones to fire aglow
Some said it was magic, yet the blind always speak

Nay, it was love, unfolded pure in the way
The kind that causes men not to speak
Hush, hear tenderness riding in the wind
Hush Indian Princess, inhale the essence I send
Hush, hear the wind bring my heart breath to you, hush...

Indian Princess standing tall, I am fire and wind, I call out to you.....

Whew...(sighs deeply) This my dear man is breath taking. The very essence of passion spilled from your pen.

And I would surely have missed you too! She bows her head humbly...

Standing tall
I am fire and wind
I call out to you.....
Both us
And this place bowing
At different paces
To what finds us
And binds us both...
Time
When I am alone so alone
I dream of the horizons across the sea
And words fail me as I see
There is no light in this place
There is no sun
