Dancing on thunder, that was his name, known of all, revered of same
He mounted sunsets, rides dawn breaking as well
Some called him warrior, others called him rain
Yet all knew of his thunder, lightning in white wind
They called him Dancing on Thunder, all men knew him when
He rode on a black pony, glistening in the sun
His frame casting shadow two mile all around
Some called him freedom, most just bowed
His name means mighty, standing rare among men
Most thought him wind-dust cast in the night
He rode upon lightning danced upon thunder he did
Whilst he searched for his lady, Princess of wind
All knew him as mighty, yet none knew his might
He stands as a legend among his people called, standing tall
For they have seen him grab stars, and toss them playfully about large and small
He searches at sunset, riding sea cliffs a high
Atop a great ocean, set in might high, he streaks in the shadows
Moves twirling inside lite, he moves faster than wind-dust yet
Her he found not, how can such power draw her not I say
All knew his name, his sad torment as well
Whenever wind whistles, it is her calling him
He streaks twinkling through the nitebreath in search of her then
She calls and she whistles, he runs in nite flight
To embrace the Princess of wind white and night lite
Some call her Indian Princess Standing in Tears.
Whenever wind whistles, it is her softly calling him....in tears
The grand sweep of these pieces, this love that you speak herald truth and beauty, surely they will stand the test of time, and eternity shall make them its own for Mr Bohen they are magic and I sit on the edge of my chair in anticipation of the lifting of you pen as you scribe yet more of this touching story.

Oh Rodney. She is such a lovely enigma. This moved me: "Whenever wind whistles, it is her softly calling him....in tears" May you find your Indian Princess, and may she be worthy of such love and longing.

Wow, overwhelming is right. Bravo, Rod. Well done, indeed.
Excellent spunk in the visual here. My grandfather was an artist of the painted desert and I have this horse standing proudly on a vista of monument Valley. You strike me as an artist as well and your canvas of words animate my dremas.
Thank you for this poem and I'll be sure to look at your web site and read others.
Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
Inspiring.

Seen the tears of an angel
That touched the soul
Like the morning dew
With the fragrant’ of a flower
In deep color
This one overwhelmed me.....its beautiful Rodney!!
