Warrior with no Name

Warrior and spirit alike descended upon them like black Rain
Indian Princess and her warrior without name
They stood as two, in one, in the fire and rain
The arrows flew, his body, her armor, pierced clean through
He in love lunged, in frame, to catch her arrows too, a canopy covering of flesh speaking true

Battle raged one day, two, maybe three
He stood as her warrior, lover, friend the same
He wilted on the third day, arrows amany now embedded deep within him
From all who sought to steal their love born of youth
Yet he roared never! As fire flew, like thunderbolts from his hands bathed in blood drenched crimson red

Sunset of the third day, the enemy all lay dead
Indian Princess, not touched, nor harmed, yet he, almost dead
He lay in her lap, mixed in clay blood red, heart still pounding undone, still hush did hover, in steeped unmatched dread
She began extracting, the arrows one by one
There were more than one could imagine, sigh...such love had he.....so utterly undone

She teared balm upon each wound therein
She breathed upon his heart's soul, love dusted prayers upon moons ray
Days passed, moons mixed, time day into night day
There they lay, he and she, alone in bright night
Would he die, she shouted no! Held his head tenderly in her lap, like as of old

On seventeenth day, he arose to his feet, paled, yet stronger in might deep down deep
First vision he sought were her hope eyes so deep
He then collapsed inside her, one they became, never to unpart, body soul the same frame
Entwined they remain, lovers grasp upon time, they melt into heavens
As birds, do they breath upon time, they are bright hope singing, they are sunshines breath unbraided in time

Story goes, they can be found on the coast, where sea breezes heal, and there are no ghosts.
They are painted in the sunset differing each day, they ride the cloudtops clutched in close array
They still in lovers grasp so tight, can be heard to scream upon midnight
Yea, screams of passion yea I do mean, and sighs of contentment, found upon dawns dreaming sleeve
She is Indian Princess, he is warrior with no name, yet they shall ride forever into eternity clutched in day

Story goes they've been sited, on white beaches by shore, where men never bother
Where otters they adore, they swim in the ocean, still clutched closely as one
Seen in our dreams by yes, many all and one, for they are love unveiled, shining bright in days sun upon night.
They are loves very essence, singing baptised and bathing in the sun, oh what love is this?
That causes them to fly so bold amidst stars, reckless and free, whilst inhaling the moon blue

Like air, in a blue magical sunburst bag, inhaled for you.........Indian Princess standing in rain....I inhale you, no other wind do I seek, but you at my feet, your head in my lap
Hold me, tightly, never let me run, for the love that I'm feeling, does burn hot in the sun
None shall harm you, my promise to you, for I am he, warrior with no name
Forever, here to protect you, here my dear, see my scars fresh, they are my love

breathing in tender declaration of you, on sunsets of wonder, to good to be true .....

This was so beautiful, so very lovely, how deeply and completely I felt this lovely poem this morning, these words:

He then collapsed inside her, one they became, never to unpart, body soul the same frame
Entwined they remain, lovers grasp upon time, they melt into heavens

So beautiful Rodney!

Hold me, tightly,
never let me run,
for the love that I'm feeling,
does burn hot in the sun
None shall harm you,
my promise to you,
for I am he,
warrior with no name
Forever,
here to protect you,
here my dear,
see my scars fresh,
they are my love
breathing in tender
declaration of you,
on sunsets of wonder,
to good to be true
We meet
I decode your eyes
Like a weather forecast
They change like the ocean
From blue to black
I watch your hands
Their slow movements
Like dancers
I watch you mouth
The softness of
Your deceitful mouth…
When
Suddenly
Without warning
Stop
Comparing scars
Evade contact off
To use it as
Currency
I a new pursuit
Ah!!
The emblems of
True love

Beautifully done Rodney..your work does something for me....I love It!!

"...a canopy covering of flesh..." My dear Rodney, I am emotionally drained, collapsed by the story, the essence of these two and of their 'creator'.. an emotional invalid at this moment, I cling to what springs from your heart and from your ideals.. poetically, this, for me, is a masterpiece. I, sir, now bow to YOUR beauty of word and rhyme.. for you have given me a place to go with this piece, if only for the time it took to read it. I thank you for that. Write on, dear Rodney, for I am rapt. katy.
