It takes an instant to judge a man wrongly in hot hate, it takes longer to learn a man in truth!
Though my heart be written
And my essence lies within
Who indeed shall read me
In order to know my heart and soul
Though they dare to judge both in quick!
Who I ask shall take the time
To know the man who cast
His naive heart to parchment
Each page stained in blood mixed with tears
Who I ask shall take the time?
Though they judge me in hot hate and Slander, riddled in haste standing tall
Who shall read my heart true ?
Whispered in truth and in purity clothed
Who I ask, shall take the time to know the man?
Alas,it takes time to read me
But only an instant to judge me
Only an instant to judge and slander me
But yes, time to know me true
Who I ask, has time this day
It took time to scribe it
For no apparent reason at all
I wrote it so they would know me
Yet still they chose to believe a lie
Who I ask does care?

Rodney.. the door marked "hate" entices some to enter when their minds are empty and their hearts are cold.. and, alas, some need victims to lash their hate upon.. stand fast, kind friend. As you once told me, write what you hear in your heart and make sure to listen to what it says.. these hate spreaders have nothing to listen to.. you've written a heartbreaker.. but you are not alone. Close and lock that 'other' door and walk on. You belong in the light. Lovely to see you back among we who value your words. katy.
