Indian Princess Standing in Power

Dedicated to my Indian Princess...Jose

Though the winds raged
and the thunder bellowed
Her eyes of heart flinched not at all!
For her faith was in another
Invisable strong and tall
Though the armies of hell
and gimps dark and small
Surrounded her daily
She flinched not at all
For her faith rested in one
invisable strong and tall
Though threatened by breeds
that dwell in the dark under rocks
The princess stood in power
exalting faith standing tall
For her faith was in the invisable one
who stands taller than all1
Captive of no man!
For a princess she was born
No army can intimidate her
though many tried large and tall
For the fire of her eyes
and the thunder of her heart
shall radiate truth to all, large, tall, and small
The enemy no more than barking dogs with no teeth
But a princess has power
not the kind from beneath
For Princesses ride sunsets
they kiss and saddle the stars at night
their power is of the heavens
and all that is bright
though darkness appears sweeping
all princesses know
that at dawn the demons scamper
everyone large tall and small
as roaches do retreat
when the light makes them small
Darkness is barbary, intimidation his game
bullies of women, small children their prey and game
But princesses wield light
and lightnig bolts as well
sending darkness to hell
from whence it hailed and first came
Princesses have power
lightning reigns in their hearts
they wear the sun on their eyebrow
the moon dances in their heart
Light dispells darkness, anytime anywhere
The princesses power comes from high in the air
So enemies of truth, be it know this very day
that the princess and her warlord
are now riding your way
Darkness once the aggressor
this day you become prey
for truth marches onward
while darkness runs away
Princesses everywhere
learn well from this tale
of an Indian Princess
standing strong in power to tell
To shout to the world
regal and pauper alike
that you never bow to darkness
You stand and fight with all your might
the tale not yet ended
The story moves on in time
Yet the battle is finished
beacause darkness flees from light
for it can only stand tall
Till we in light fight in might
Then darkness the coward
all swarthy and dark
merely runs off in horror
crying in the night
So princesses everywhere
See the Indian Princess standing in power
For she wields her sword glimmering
for all who have sight
Be courageous Indian Princesses
wherever you are
for the night holds no darkness
when your heart shines in bright!
Might and bright
the legacy inherited
to Indian Princesses of lite!
