Your words blow through me

like the wind through the trees

Nourishing me with your breath,

filling me with your substance

I sway and am caught by your endearments,

bedded by your whispers

Tickled by your golden tongue,

I roll into your soliloquy

Only to be pounded by your firm language

and vigorous verbiage

Satiated by your syllables,

I curl up with curious commentary and quips

Drifting off to sleep to the sound

of your sweet nothings in my ear
