When the storms of life are raging

and the billows are tossing high.

The waters are threatening to over flow

you, and hope begins to fade away.

That's when Jesus intervenes, for He is

the guardian of your soul. Saying to

your storm be still, calming the raging

sea. Calming the raging sea!

When the storms has swept by

the wicked are gone away, but

the righteous stand firmly

on the solid rock Jesus Christ.

The fear of the Lord adds length

to your life, but the years

of the wicked are shortened.

For the way of the Lord is a Refuge

the righteous run in and are safe.

Saved on the firm foundation

the righteous will never be uprooted

Staying faithfully and obedient abiding

in His Holy word.
