In each of us she slowly becomes less visible,
Perishing from the minds and hearts of men
Disappearing swiftly from our baneful and remiss lands
Purged from consciences and cast out of nations
Out into the lifeless deserts where the palms alone stand
Below the feet of dogs and lowly men
As we cast away virtues and justice to annex her hands
Forgetting our Humanity and failing to understand
The plights of one another; forbearance we damn!
Turning our eyes away from our duties to our fellowmen
Nations against nations wrought by politics and religion
People separated by the colors of skins and origins of clans
The war for wealth and power propagated by man
Has robbed us of Humanity and in our emptiness we plan
Hostility against each other and devising our destruction
Purged of our Humanity and ability to understand
That we are one civilization and in unity should stand
Against the raging tempests and the scourging of the land
Against war, poverty, racism, bigotry and oppression
Against our ethnocentrism and anti-miscegenation
Before we lose the last of our Humanity and hope to be one
And like the dinosaurs, history records us as existing once!
