How does one do it, from underneath the cores
Fall in love with someone, that can never be yours
To think of them often, to even lose sleep
All the while you know, they are one you can't keep
How does one do it, with feelings swirling inside
Go on day to day, when you just want to hide
You know it is wrong, to feel this way
Always searching and hoping, for something to say
How does one do it, I often wonder
Will things get better, before I plunder
Can I go on? Will I forget?
Or will I go on? Live with much regret?
How does one do it, to think all the time
Going about a day, with no reason or rhyme
I need to know, how to make it all fit
Let it go? Hang on? Just how does one do it?
