A Poem that rymes

I got bored one day back in 1990, and so I wrote this down. Its on the simple side of my imagination.

Once upon a time, there was a dime. It was said, it was made of lead. The shiney dime, oh sometimes would show its head, its not red. The shiney dime, it will ryme; it fell on my bed, bounced up and hit my head. The shiny dime met a new quarter, so thirty five cents eloped to the border. I know that the quarter does not ryme, so my saying is just a bit shorter. I'm still to think if there is a link, or maybe my poems about to sink. I'd better stop while I'm ahead, so I'll go flop into my bed.

Lol. This is great. It has some spelling errors, but it's very catchy.

"A Poem that rymes" beats the drums of imagination and sounds seeds for poetical creation on the prairie of the active Verb.

I Salute the Author of "A Poem that rymes".

I think it needs to be revised and polished.

Keep writing; keep posting, Author Leslie Bond, You got the style, the tools and the talent.
