Loose the Shackles

They came with songs and praises, singing,
Come by here my Lord, Come by here, the only thing that kept their spirits up, spirits that made bad days pass with better ease, Somebody needs your Lord, Come by here, Oh Lord, Come by here

Ancestor's, my Ancestor’s, your Ancestor’s,
chained and shackled, years and years of stains falling, crying to loose the shackles, oh, can’t you hear the cries, crying, loose the shackles

Come by here my Lord, Come by here, Take and remove these shackles, Lord, Come by here, Lord, Somebody needs you Lord, Come by here, Don’t need these shackles, Oh Lord, Come by here, and take these shackles off, Oh Lord

Ancestor's, my Ancestor’s, your Ancestor’s,
fulfilling years and years of tears, many tears, many years of stains falling, crying to loose the shackles

Easing the pain, I am so grateful, so thankful, and still today grateful and thankful that my Ancestor's, your Ancestor's, prayed and kept faith with spirits not broken and I pray each day for the ability to help loose more shackles

A prayer at hand causing some things to end and some things new to begin, my Ancestor’s, your Ancestor’s, indeed, the helper’s of this land here

A voice of our Ancestor’s stepping out of something and into something, singing praises and crying to loose the shackles, freeing ours

Secrets of our Ancestor’s, pages turning, excluding our history and keeping our history well kept in them their eyes that could not see a better day for our Ancestor's

Fear times more fear wasn't equal, and the total sum of it all meant heavier chains to shackle our tired and worn out bodies, hearing the words in their voices, words of many songs sung and the prayers prayed, they couldn’t shackle the thoughts of freedom and who they really were

Our Ancestor’s eyes are in your eyes, in my eyes, better be careful, might be in your eyes

Beaten and whipped, day in and day out, not to confess their sins to God, but instead to confess to them, the slave master

Well, God knows all about truth, and a lie will never stand with him, for he is truth, light and the way

Deliberating truth, then and now, how and where, and when safe was safe enough to be passed down into the generations for the promised passage to freedom that called the unjust to unloose the shackles

A confession to their God telling him that lies were all this world knew, and deep down creeping in their souls revealed truth, uplifting and departing their lips of color so gracefully

Over and over again, our Ancestor’s told plenty truth describing when, where and how unjust things really were; telling them there eyes to loose the shackles

Dark clouds in hell, the filler of hate pouring out  onto this land, the faithless ordering steps telling the mouth to stay shut, and the Devine light pulling them up and out of the gut of darkness, the hell, the man-made hell of man.

Elevating hunger pains to arrive when they rebelled, and filling was his word, as he sent comfort, and the stomach's of our Ancestor's were no longer filled with hunger because his word was food, and strength.

Cruelty laughed and spat for they were no better then the dirt that lay on their feet, masters of deceit, them there eyes, evil eyes, filling up and out with nothings, master’s of then and there, but not right now

Grace keeping their eyes strongly held, shielding them from the things below, from them there eyes of evil and from the things that couldn’t keep them down, when it wasn’t theirs from the start

Grace holding and keeping them up, his Grace seeing them through the trials and tribulation's, Our Father there waiting, removing the shackles, saying no more

Sing our Ancestor’s songs, sing them in prayer, sing them to uplift him in praise and his ears hear our soul's and he blesses those in harmony and unity that whatever secret kept can now be told, and his blessing's rise to loose the shackles, freeing ours

Prayer upsets the things of the world that are not correct, creating a bond of one, setting the wrongs right, and leading us to be free from the years of stains falling, calling all of God’s people to be free, saying no more, loose these shackles.

That was then, but the truth about it now is, hate is still strong in them there eyes, the only difference now is, it can’t distinguish nor discriminate which color is which, in them there eyes.
