There are few achievements a person can make that rival his/her being able to live in the now...to be here now and now here.
Yesterday is history, past time;
Tomorrow is a mystery, future time;
Today is a gift, present time.
I embrace the now, the fornow,
where all my experience of present reality exists;
where I can see the sky, moon and stars,
feel the breeze caressing my body,
hear the birds sing,
smell the roses,
touch and even kiss the cheek of a child,
listen to a new song,
do a new thing and
delight and even bask in the presence of God Who when speaking of Himself declares, "I am."
Yet, even as I embrace the now I do so not tenaciously but with gentleness of spirit, lucidity and the awareness that "This too shall pass." Now I am in the flow abiding in the fornow, the Eternal Now.
