Jesus Gave Two Reasons for Coming to Earth

Jesus said "I am the way of the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me."  (John 14:6) (NIV). He said many more things regarding "I am," that included "I am the God of Abraham... I am the Christ... I am the living bread... I am the door of the sheep... I  am the good shepherd... I am the true vine... I am the resurrection." But he only gave two reasons for leaving Heaven and coming to Earth. They are:

"For the Son of Man has come to seek and save what was lost." - Luke 19:10 (NIV)

"I am come that they may have life, and have it to the full." -John 10:10 (NIV)

When a person understands the purpose for which Jesus said he came into this world, that God so loved humans that he gave his only begotten son, Jesus, he can dismiss much of the rhetoric he hears about the reasons Jesus came to this world. Jesus desires for lost men to be saved, and once saved, to live life to its full, i.e., to have more life in living iand more living in life.
