Downward, downward, downward;
upward, upward, upward.
It seems appropriate to begin this discourse
with the acknowledgment that entropy
has a single definition even though when
applied to the physical the meaning may
be different than when applied to the social.

Entropy is a doctrine of  inevitable social
decline and degeneration, a downward path
that often leads to death which may not be
the end but a new beginning. The direction
of everything is toward entropy  and  no
struggle against it, just as no resistance
against death, can succeed, The function
may be reversion which is the act of turning
something in the reverse way or atavism,
to return to and earlier or primitive type
such as the reappearnce in an individual of
some remote ancestor that has been absent
in intervening generations.

If time was cut into small pieces, smaller
than seconds until it could not be cut any
more, infinitesimally, you get entropy.

From the evolution perspective entropy
is a vestige, i.e., the smallest quantity that
is just a trace, an inkling that something
was there that is no longer present in its
substantive form. It is like unto the synthesis
that followed the antithesis which followed
the thesis that became a new thesis.

The downward, downward, downward spiral
transitioning into the upward, upward, upward
spiral  is articulated by John the Revelator, as
described in the  Book of  Revelation, the
last book of the Bible. While on the Greek"
Island of Patmos he received a revelation
that reveals entropy as Ultimate. He states:
     "I, John, am the one who heard and saw
  these things." (Rev. 22:8)
    "Then I saw a new heaven and a new
  earth for the first heaven and the first earth
  had passed away." (Rev 21:1)

John, reached farther back into eternity and
farther on into the eternity future than anyone
had ever done at that time or at present in
describing the entropy process that culminates
in upward eternity

So do not fear or be dismayed. Do not
desire or attempt to prevent the inevitability
of entropy that is, according to the Divine
plan, in process of returning everything to its
original state, regaining Paradise on a higher
level than experiencd by Adam and Eve, as
it was in Creation when God observing His
handiworks, beginning with the first day and
every day thereafter, said, "It was good,"
except the last day when He said, "It was
very good." With zero taken out of good
there is only God, the Totality of All Good."
