It's a great day to be alive;
I will rejoice and be glad in it.
It's enough to be alive,
To have meaning in survival,
To see the sea an sky and watch, even be a part of the creative process;
To eat, talk, walk, play, work, sleep,
To love and be loved.
To feel pain and joy, and the breeze of an invisible wind.
To be free to be self and not have to be somebody else.
To embrace full life,
and live just for today.
For this is the eternal now;
the delectale state that it is!
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
