There were three men one night

All were laying low out of sight

And watching their flocks by night

When suddenly they had a great fright

By the news that should’ve kept tight

As they were seated on the ground

Came light shone within the bound

When angels of the Lord came down

With glory shone as lights in town

Fears fell upon the three wise men

Then came a voice that said fear not

The men listened and this they’ve got

A message determined each man’s lot

Right on the ground where they’ve sat

We must run remarked the three men

Whilst the angels hovered like a dove

Allured the men they looked above

Then in the sky they had seen a star

The brightest star ever seen by far

What’s all this said the three men

Carefully they tried to be bold

When soon this they were told

For unto you a Child is born today

In the manger laying down on hay

Yes, let’s go said three wise men

He is the Saviour Christ the Lord

Prophecy has been justly fulfilled

As the men were definitely thrilled

They adored Jesus with fine gifts, then

Seeing as they were Three Wise Men.
