Growing Cold! We into this fast moving world With some people wicked and bold There must be a need to slow down If not our wits could simply drown We in this very fast moving world There can’t be much not yet told It’s pushing life way out of bound To every voice is its own sound We in this very fast moving world The love for God is growing cold Due to the love of fame and gold Almost every talk is just about apps It’s so much from kindle to e-pops We in this very fast moving world Man is putting godliness on hold He has no care for his own soul Since from holiness he will stroll Owing to this fast moving world The love for God is growing cold Due to the love of fame and gold Yet the Lord has given us hope He waits for us to back come home Take advice and turn to repentance Save your soul while there is time From this very fast moving world Of men who are wicked and bold Their love for God growing cold Fears are gone with times of old Due to the love of fame and gold Written by Clarence R. A TIMELY REMINDER THAT WE MUST HOLD FAST TO OUR REDEEMER IN THESE TURBULENT TIMES WHEN THE STORMS OF 'TESTING' ARE FIERCELY ATTACKING EVERY SOUL. THE WORD OF GOD TELLS US THAT THOSE THAT CAN BE SHAKEN, WILL BE...AND THOSE THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN, WILL REMAIN. It is certainly a fast moving world with many grasping for material possessions...but there are also those who are kind, caring and want a simpler life...I am reminded of the Sixties film...Stop the World...I Want to get Off!....

Your sincere poem is all too true Clarence. On the one hand when folks are behind the wheel they seem to all be too much in a hurry to go to and fro. Then get them in a warm room with good country cooking and the same folks slow down a bit and share stories. That's the time we can share our testimony with Jesus Christ.

The more advanced the technologies are, the greedier the humans will become. It is almost a necessity now to "live" in the technologies, since we can't go back to the stone age anymore. Sad, but true!

I like the thought in the poem. It would be even better if the blame were placed squarely on the perpetrators and God were left out.
