Apprehensive,
looking into the depths of
unsmiling, hypnotic eyes,
just the way they entice me,
daring me, drawing me in...
Apprehensive,
keeping a safe distance,
but wanting to be there,
wanting to be closer, and
trying to let myself go...
Apprehensive,
it's just us now,
warm eyes, warm hands,
nothing but us, face to face,
almost touching...almost...
Apprehensive,
what's about to happen
is inevitable, no turning back
heart's race, eyes gazing deep
still, as if to hold the moment.
And this is it
we're suddenly so much more
than just two people, and this
is so much more than just a kiss,
just for one frozen moment in time...

I remember her name!! and the smell and taste of her. If you can write like this at 16, who knows how good you will be?
