Just watch the sky this Winter night,
she told me with a smile,
and so I did,
I watched,
just for a while.

The sky was scattered overhead,
with pearly flakes of snow,
and all the stars,
shone through,
the hazy sky.

And all the twinkles of the night,
became my angel's eyes,
and smiled at me,
that night,
in silent gaze.

I stared into those eyes so deep,
awash in Winter's stars,
and lost myself,
for hours,
in the night.

And then I saw the broken rays,
of sunlight through the trees,
that captured,
stole away,
my angel's eyes.
