So Tired...

I'm so tired of sitting around
and waiting for life
to jump out and give me
a reason to exist.

I'm so tired of all of you people,
pointing the finger
and telling me what I
should or shouldn't be.

You don't have the right!
Until you have spent a day
looking at things through my eyes,
you can try and work out
your own twisted, screwed up lives,
and stop criticising
the way I choose
to dawdle through mine
in my already exhausted shoes.

I'm so tired of checking my watch
and wondering when love is due
to come and show me
why life is so great.

I'm so tired of waving goodbye,
to each special person
who breaks my heart,
and being expected to move on.

You don't have the right!
So I've made mistakes,
I've been naive,
I've lost my concentration,
and thrown away my dreams,
I've swept away my morals,
for a second's worth of happiness,
but what can you expect from me,
my fragile mind is such a mess.

Life also used to tire me so...
and then I learned to just take a nap.
You'll find it amazing what a new day will bring.

Charlotte, you need to find a way to jump out at life. You can do it. Don't always be a victum of circumstance. Make things happen .... using you God's given abilities. Happy Holidays. Bill Murray

ah but you are doing something with you life mon cheri, if nothing else there is this, and do you know how many people can pull strength from the fact that you are able to write down the very thing they feel, you are able to take a broken part, and put it to paper, and therefore validate it as real, this is something so few can do. keep writing, if not for yourself then for others. now is it I pointing the finger? ha
well done.
