I Dreamed ...

I dreamed of pink clouds

like the cotton candy confections

from the circus floating

enticingly before

stands of eager children

I dreamed of falling stars

like the lightening bugs

that dot summer nights

with glowing remnants

of the day’s yellow sun

I dreamed of brilliant diamonds

like the glistening drops

of water splashing

as children gleefully dive

under blue skies

I dreamed of forever love

like the promise on a

wedding day between

young lovers who believe

in happily ever after

I dreamed of dreaming,

of never waking to a

world without pink clouds,

falling stars, brilliant diamonds

and forever love

I dreamed …

Ahhhh sometimes sweet dreams symbolize what the condition of our conscience and heart contain, and if so your are a blessed woman. This old world isn't perfect but if we still have the power to dream such dreams and share them with others it cannot be all bad.

And I hope all that you dreamed comes true and you live out the rest of your life as a fairy tale princess.
