My friends laugh at my “sticky note” romance, but I hear the envy in their laughter. Tender testimonies of love tucked into drawers, left on mirrors, waiting on my steering wheel. He leaves them for me, sweet, scripted surprises of sentiment dotting my world. I know he loves me, yet these simple statements stick to my heart, and post to my soul.
