Poem Artwork

 There is sometimes a sense of déjà vu

Or the memory of a dream, hazy blue
And I am momentarily transported
Then the glimpse through eternity ends, aborted.
 
Or while struggling through the mire of pain
From some tragedy of life mundane
A calming presence will surround
A feathery touch, a sense of peace, love unbound.
 
While looking into the stranger’s eyes
The awareness of reunion realized
And though we have not met before
There is instant friendship, immediate rapport.
 
Are these the signs of life re-lived
Or coincidences, impressions contrived.
Are the answers perhaps to be found
When we return for another go-around.
