Thoughts on the twelfth anniversary of my father's passing.....
Time has softened the razored edge of loss His final breath is no longer my first memory I can see things now that I couldn't see then For I was young and always right Now I appreciate the words of wisdom he spoke For what they really were..... A Father's hope for his daughter's happiness.

beautiful tribute to your daddy, pam! i lost my mom 14 1/2 years ago, and the pain never goes away completely. i hope you make it on this sad anniversary in your life; you are in my prayers!

Time, and a little more wisdom does have a tendency to make us see things more clearly and with a better perspective. In our hormonally-plauged youth, we fail to see what in right before our eyes. He is looking down and smiling.
