Call me crazy but I often get little signs in the sky from my Dad....long gone but ever so close.
Star Messages.....
Early morn in darkened skies
Above me I can't believe my eyes
For there among the star formations
I clearly see a declaration
A message from an angel on high?
Who knew that they would catch my eye?
A secret code only I could see?
A gift from God meant just for me?
For among the stars I saw three letters
The darkness made the view much better
There was an "I", an "L" and a "Y"
The brightest stars in my morning sky
I smiled and said as I gazed above
"Thanks dear angel for sending your love"
From time to time I feel the presence
It's warm and happy and oh so pleasant
My Father passed some years ago
But often provides this morning "show"
It starts my day in a special way
Keeps me happy throughout my day
May I suggest next time you can

First, welcome back, been too long since I've seen you here. I've missed you!
Second, know what you mean: the evening my Daddy died, was outside on the front porch, the sun had set, and there was a cloud formation that caught my attention: it looked like one person holding a perfect heart in its (his?) hand - took pictures of it - it brought me peace and comfort. I often look up for a message from my earthly Daddy and my Heavenly Father - a beautiful, deeping meaningful write, very well penned.

This is just a wonderful way to keep the love you have for your father alive. That he sends you these little tokens of his love for his daughter is not debatable. It really must be a satisfying, although tempered with sadness to see his love manifested in such a Heavenly way.
