Congratulations Jerry! We’re all happy as can be… Won’t be long before that book On store shelves we shall see! Now comes a bit more waiting While they review it all But still I think it won’t be long Before you get that call! Or maybe a BIG white envelope With a contract stuck inside, And you and Dottie will be thrilled With smiles a mile wide! You’ve worked so hard for all these years Have novels ready to sell If that publisher doesn’t grab them up Well, they can just go to…..(oops)!! CONGRATULATIONS…
