Although Aesop left the scene of the crime in Kate's Den with a heavy heart, he learned that all was not lost!

Aesop he was so distraught
By the happenings in Kate’s Den
His Creator Mistress Pamela
Had been a dear, close friend.

He gazed into the clear night sky
Through tears he saw a star
He felt a warmth spread through his heart
He knew she wasn’t far.

Surrounded by a bright white light
Mistress Pamela appeared
Explained to Aesop that all was well
In spite of what he feared.

For although she had met her end
Her spirit had survived
Much like a cat that he’d once known
Mistress Pamela had nine lives!

For all the rest of Aesop’s days
His guardian angel she would be
Although Kate’s trap had ended her life
Her spirit had been set free…….

Lovely comeback at Culling Kate. I still think Aesop may have a part to play in Kate's downfall
