The Dash Date B.D.-D.D.

The days of want and the challenges faced,

Fill in what was done during our dash date.

The space that occupies the gap from beginning to end.

The judgment of actions we could not defend.

What's left behind seems to all depend.

Whether we showed love or chose to hate.

It's the pro's and con's encompassed during our dash date.

Remorse appears too often, once it's past too late.

When time has run out for cleansing the slate.

The dreaded conclusion will not be given a break.

About the failed indecisions of the dash date.

The choices that become the worried lost.

Mistakes that have been plaqued by thier cost.

Along the way of accomplished and fail.

The hidden secrets that no one will tell.

The attention given to causes removed from self.

Will pay a tribute to what your life has left.

To what we tried or failed to create.

The avoidance of things we thought could wait.

The support given to those we sustained.

Will be the testimony of those that remain.

The shortcomings of attempted tasks,

The defects that we couldn't mask.

After examining the rules of do and don'ts,

When we compromised, what was suppose to be the point?

The path we chose that sealed our fates,

Is always marked during our dash dates.

For it is not deciphered or measured in a day.

But it is told by what a life would say.

The wounds left behind by our sordid traits,

Are not covered or fogotten for they relate.

To the time on the line of our dash dates.
