but thieves they fell upon him

and left him naked in the dust

a priest saw him lying there
and passed on the other side

but then a kind Samaritan
had pity and knelt down

and took him into town

Jesus said to love thy neighbor
and all men are thus
and because Jesus is our saviour
His wisdom we must trust

so Jesus tells us to show mercy
to whomever is in need
