and asked of the Good News

he said we know that thou art a teacher
that has come from God
for none can do these miracles
that leave us all in awe
except that God be with him
and he be one with God

verily I say to thee
except a man be born again
he shall not be with me

except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit tell
he cannot enter in the kingdom
that you hope so well

that which is born of flesh is flesh
of Spirit that is spirit
marvel not I said to thee
have faith in when you hear it

the wind will blow from where it wants
and when you hear the sound
you canst not tell from whence it comes
or where it goes around
so every one that is born
of the Spirit he was formed

and Nicodemus answered Him
said Rabbi how can these things be?
and Jesus said him verily
verily that when we speak
we speak of what we know
and testify of what's been shown
and yet ye receive not our witness
when I speak of earthly things
so how shall ye believe
when I tell of heavenly things

as Moses lifted up the serpent
in the wilderness
so must the Son of man shall rise
as written so it is
that whosoever believes in Him
should not perish but have eternal life

for God so loved the world
He gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believeth
in He who is the one
should not perish for all time
but have everlasting life

for God sent not His Son
to condemn the world to night
but that the world through Him be saved
to bring them into light

he that will believeth
will never be condemned
but he that will believeth not
will not see light again

those who love darkness rather
than the light of God
shall perish ever after
salvation they have not

but he that doeth truth
doeth what he ought
his good deeds be made manifest .
that this is what God wrought
