YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE by Rodgers and Hammerstein,
made into a hymn
with some minor changes and the addition of Psalm 23
When you walk through the storm
hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on walk on with God in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in the green
He leads me beside
the cool water so still
restoreth my soul is redeemed
He leadeth me in
the paths of righteousness
for His name's sake I do go
and yea, though I walk
in the shadow of death
I'll never walk alone
I'll never walk alone
I will fear no evil
for thou art with me
thy rod and thy staff comfort me
Thou preparest a place
before mine enemies
to sit with them in state of grace
thou anointest my head
and you save me from death
and my cup it runneth o'er
I'll never walk alone
I'll never walk alone
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me
and last all the days of my life
and forever I'll dwell
in the house of the Lord
forever and ever in light
I will dwell evermore
in the house of the Lord
and shall sit beside His throne
and as I walk on
through the dark endless night
know I'll never walk alone
you'll never walk alone

My class chose that song as our class song my senior year in high school. wonderful to dance to. We didn't think of it at all as a religious song at the time.
