and left us here to sing to Him
and others left to pray
in His infinite great wisdom
nothing's left to say

his father to live on
a little girl should live until
her life's been rich and long
a church can be a lonely place
even when full of song
three angels went to God today
He took them to His breast
three angels went to Heaven
to find eternal rest
and high up in the sky
a perfect chord has come to be
three angels singing in the Sun
in perfect harmony
