Winter is eitherr a bane or a blessing--
having spent 20yrs n of the 51st paralelle
you might quess my thoughts on the matter.
Ah, real winter -- NOT the plus 12 celceus the has been inflicted on us here in rainy old O-Sha-Wa today.
dark iron shod winter
waltzed gracefully into town
today:
laughing teasing
looking for a romp--
for a romp and a ramble
bearing a challenge.
challenging
the joyless hibernants
here
to abandon couch and stupor
and,
risking frostbite and chilblains,
to find joy
in a snowflake,
or a snow man,
or a walk amid
the falling snow
