ah yes I can relate to this so well -sort of like the T-shirt I have which says

Top Ten reasons I Procrastinate
1).....

I want to fill up that balnk page and I will...sometime..well as soon as I can think of something to say-well done

like this John, yes that blank page at times causes rage, I'm glad I enjoy writing for fun too. trying to write another book though, we got to at least try to challenge ourselves. G

hahaha yes i have if i go donw the list of started and uncompleted
stories lets just say, there aren't enuf blank spaces here ok!!!

I have had moments like this. Often followed by a rush of muse inpirations. Often from unexpected sources. Like large snowflakes falling from the sky :-)

Interesting and I just made a deal with a guy for some old love letters written back in 1903. In a few weeks I will be writing about them. Interesting point about the blank page.

I think we all have known this lament, John, at one time or another and as usual, sometimes it is for the best, you come back with some of the best writes of your life...and then again some of us just return from the brink with writes like mine...LOL! Peace, Ed & Rufuz

I liked it a lot. I thought it was very thought provoking. You have good flow and good word usage. Something a lot of writers can definately identify with. :) Keep writing!!
