sometimes you wonder about your own sanity

i've been in this situation

i'm going to give this series a rest for a wweek or so

part 4 sex, sin, and moral theology
coming soon

going back to church

seeing a congregation worship
relating to an unseen presence
one that you do not sense
must seem strange

are they mad?
deluded?
are they hypocrites?
maybe just detached form reality ---

they are neither
deluded nor mad

hypocrites?
not necessarily
but scoundrels exist
in all realities

detached from reality?
from your reality
as you are from theirs

then you begin to question yourself

are you out to lunch?
mad?
deluded?

possibly.
but not necessarily

indeed
you are no more likely
to be so
then they are

+

the difference
between
those who believe and
those who don’t

the level of perversity

John,

Man has mucked God's instructions and replaced them with his own--leaving out God entirely, in my opinion--the old, old message is forgotten--heartbreaking!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

OUTSTANDING, thought provoking series--thank you for speaking boldly!

The search for God, or truth, will always raise more questions that it answers if the quest is sincere. You are convicted in your heart one way or the other. No amount of ritual, good works, self-chastisement, pilgrimage or outward striving will make you any more spiritual. But study and contemplation have merit. Yes, being human, scoundrels exist in all realities...

That is good discernment, those with real tribulation will seek God and church more easily than those in comfort. However, I think the clergy and church doctrine make the message too cluttered and confused. The simple message God gave was that we simply believe and when we do, the rest will follow. When we accept Him , his spirit then begins to work in us, if we let it. Then church can continue with the teachings.

Who Says Women Can't Lead? by JAMES RONDINONE

We have been told from the pulpit that only men have been called to the leadership positions of the church. Uncovered truths and new translations have changed this perspective.
