A metaphor for the poetic process???
dry land in a dry season the satirical sun etching its discipline upon the exposed flesh of naked writers staked out, for its steely purpose and pleasure, upon the sun soaked sand wet land in a wet season the ironic moon maddening naked poets writing naked verses of a sun dried time remembered in the rain

I do like the contrast, I can relate, often write naked and I'm also partial to being staked out LOL...balanced to prfection.
