A 2009 revisit to the 2008 series see "Wolf Wind Winter", "Old Thom". and "Snow Snakes"
wolf wind winter the wolf is back bone jarring cold covering reaching down to the great lake. snow crunching cold strength giving cold pulling this weakling land back into balance the wolf is back thigh deep snow blocking traffic challenging a\our illusion of orderly intercourse the wolf is back wind and cold and snow challenging invigorating giving life and strength romping about yard just at the edge of sight a grinning white wolf roll in the snow be one with the wolf find your strength in the wind and the cold rejoice in winters challenge rejoice the wolf is back

Brrrr. After reaching nearly 80 degrees yesterday, the bite of the Wolf Wind Winter leaves me chilled. Excellent imagery and write; well done!

Such a beautiful pack of thoughts, John, you know, I love when a poet can use "body language" to convey a feeling of special importance in the seasons of nature, and you did just that. Yes, let's rejoice...wonderful and felt deep within the soul, John...have a great howl...I can feel the silver-tipped guard hairs raising...be well.
