aliterative W

Contemplating the wreck and wrack
of a life not well lived.

World weary wordsmith, wry wretch
wresting meaning from the wise and
weaseling words of wrathful fools.

Wine warded woozy wooly writer
wooden tongued wailer waiting
the wraith muse’s whim.

Wacky wanton wag, wandering warlock,
mourning the wasted ways and mean
of the withered promise of wonder

Weathered, withered wordsmith
waiting wearily in the wasteland
to weakly wink out…
