You trust your parents don't you? You've heard the saying "Mother is god in a child's eyes." Now think, is that true ?
Busted lips Blackened eyes Broken arms Part of me that’s been hurt Unknown to anyone What daddy does to me Far away father He doesn’t wanna see me I’m not sick More like depressed How did momma get herself in this mess? Stuck in a hard spot She’s forced to choose Her daughters’ funeral home, Or her own If she had listened to me Dear momma’d be happy Instead she followed the money being thrown in her face I could have helped her stopped her or I wish I could but I was still too young and oh so naïve that momma dearest wanted a papa for me she asked and she prayed good lord yes he gave my momma exactly what she asked for, and because of my momma’s choice the funeral that she had to plan wasn’t that of a woman, but of a little girl instead
