For a Pastor who cares

My heart has found its anchor
... my soul serenity,
Knowing the love of Jesus
... is enough for me,
I'm no longer lonely
... in a world of misery,
My life now has a rudder
... to guide my destiny.

Oh yes Jesus loves me
... He's the Captain of my dreams,
He leads me daily
... through an ocean of evil schemes,
I'm not afraid of the Devil
... with Jesus by my side,
I'll face each tomorrow
... in his arms opened wide.

... I grow stronger every day,
Sailing with my Saviour
...I'll never lose my way,
He's my compass - my direction -
... my reason to be,
Thank you sweet Jesus
... you've made a believer out of me.
Yes my heart has found its anchor
... Who paid the highest cost,
He gave His life so everyone
... would never be lost,
Now I must follow Him
... to His world beyond the seas,
He's prepared an eternal Home
...where I'll always be free
