I’m Not What You Think 1-13-03 You seemed to think I was Your own personal punching bag There just to take all your blows You didn’t think I was a person With feeling and thoughts All my own You delighted in stripping away Self-worth, ripping at the core Of who I am You wanted to play the Game of forgive and foget Well, you can’t do that to me anymore I’ve grown wise to your controlling, Abusive ways, and you will Never treat me like that anymore I’m not that child you Tired to kill inside anymore
