Blocked And Lonely

Without thoughts, I sit
In a room
In the darkness of silence
Shadows dwell
And dreams fade
Into the nothing of filtering light
The love of my heart
I'm unable to reach out
To embrace
The loveliness, that is you
Has escaped my soul
My plume, is in need of ink
My well is dried
The keeper of my heart
Is in disregard
Of my cold soul
Howling, in the night.

Even cold souls howling in the night will find their Springtime.
And the stronger the wind howls, the stronger your roots of belief will become.

Painfully sad, Bill, as I know the same type of feeling well... my fiance living far away, but there is always hope that I will get to see her, as I bet your hope is strong as well...sometimes I wonder if I wasn't better off single :)Peace, Ed & rufuz

How well I know the sound of "howling," William,
and how perfectly expressed here!
