The Lamb ~~~~~~~~~~ In the clover fields Of Elysium A pregnant Ewe rest Neath the shade Of a tree of elm. ~~~~~~ The lion beast lays by her side Cleansing her face With gentle licks. ~~~~~~ He comforts her In her time of labor As she gives birth To her first lamb. ~~~~~~ Unseen to the eyes Of men An angel caresses The lion's Mane As he rest his head Against the beast. ~~~*~~~ By: William Bonilla D'Artagnan 05/12/2020 " Picture Image By Godspo.tumblr.com ��

I believe the statue portrays a famous biblical passage where, "The lion shall lie down with the lamb." (Jane) Hopefully, a harbinger of the end of war, where the strong protect the weak rather than conquering them.
