I kissed her lips
They not respond
Her ears, can't hear my words
With a silent heart.
The bright embers
Within the loveliness, of her eyes
Shine never more
For they now stare
Into the infinite unknown.
With lips warm, craving hers
I gently kissed, hers eyes close
Like a Princess, in deep sleep
She lies
Upon royal silken cloth.
For her realm
To pass in review
Before the loveliness, she once was
A sadden soul
A heart that mourns.
Tears that fall on hallow ground
I bow my head
To see a yellow rose
Where my tears, once fell.
Sadly moving and captivating verses, William. Thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace. Regis
