Its been a week
Since my eyes were blest
With your presence
My loneliness was eternal.
Tortured I was
By the sight
Of a dew laden Rose
And you were not by my side
To awe upon it's beauty.
My soul craved
To once again embrace
The tenderness
Of you within my arms.
My now parched lips
Hunger still
For the taste of yours
Upon mine.
The sweetness
Of your heavenly tongue
I desired
As we kissed.
Our eyes stared
Into each other's
At what true love is
We dreamily closed them
As we savored the juices
Of our destiny.
Oh!
I am so deeply in love
With you
Without you, by my side
What will this
Lonely man, ever do?
