Happy is a soul
As he awaits her arrival
Heart beating
With anticipation.

Tonight she'll bless
The loneliness
She had caused him
For timeless hurting nights.

There will be no shadows
Lurking in the coners
Of loneliness
This coming night.

Smiles from both sides
Will brighten their dwelling
Setting their soul aflame.

without his knowledge
She leaves behind
An aynomous sad soul
Sulking in tears of want
He stands
Before an opened window.

Silvery beams
From a pale blue, full moon
Attempt to brighten
His broken heart.

He embraces his nakedness
Preventing his arms
From reaching, into the darkness
Of an empty room.

He had once tasted,
her lips
Once stared
Into the sensuousness
Of her brown eyes
He too whispered into
Her ears
His most desired thoughts.

He listened, to her soft deniels
While witnessing a smile
Worth living for
A soft gentle kiss
And he walked away
To dream of her another day.
